Homemade Christmas Stocking

Whilst trying to save money this Christmas, I decided to make my daughter a stocking rather than buying one.  A rather skimpy piece of Michael Miller material makes the stocking itself.
Check out www.michaelmillerfabrics.com and see a business built from scratch by Michael Steiner & Kathy Miller.  Love it!

Because of the cut of material I ordered, I had to put a sneaky seam in to make the stocking long and thin rather than super short and fat!  Finished with a mutilated Santa hat from Poundland www.poundland.co.uk to get the fluffy band at the top.  Then 2 homemade pompoms and a couple of jingle bells from a pack of 6 from Sainsburys www.sainsburys.co.uk and hey presto!

Had saving money not been the main objective, I would have ordered 2 lengths of fabric to make a seamless stocking but all in all, I'm pretty happy with it.  Hopefully my little one approves of the contents come Christmas!

We are currently creating gifts including EggBox Jungle picture boxes, which consist of a blown and painted egg-character positioned within a cardboard jungle scene and finished with fabric bunting.  Frames are a plain, sanded wood that can be painted to complement existing colour schemes.

CatLeteve.com is FINALLY entering into the digital revolution...

Right; as I am not one for spouting off about myself, I find keeping the world updated about day-to-day events fairly excruciating BUT I am dying to create a successful business and see business-related blogs popping up all over the place so here goes.....
